بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ.

اّلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ. وَاْلعَقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ. فَلاَعُدْوَانَ اِلاَّ عَلَىالظَّالِمِيْنَ. وَالصَّلاَةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَى اَشْرَفِ اْلاَنْبِيَاءِ وَاْلمُرْسَلِيْنَ, وَعَلَىآلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُمْ اِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ. اَمَّا بَعْدُ.

Your excelencies presidents of meeting club.

And my loving brothers.

It is very great pleasure for me in this precious chance to deliver my speech to the most honoroble audience entitled.

THE ROLE OF THE FAMILY

IN ISLAMIC SOCIETY

I’m greatly indebted to the protokol who has assigned me and provided me the time to be a speaker in this bright night (day).

Before coming to the main issue, the role of the family in Islamic Society, let us first thank God Allah, the Almighty, who has created us from single “soul” and from it created its mate and from the two dispersed men and women in multitudes.

Peace and salutation be upon the noble messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) the last Prophet who has been sent to all mankind to improve and perfect the ethical and moral behavior of his ummah.

All Muslim Brothers of mine !

Islamic society is composed of inviduals and families who are governed by normal laws given by the Qur’an and Sunnah. Islam, which stands peace and harmony, demands from its followes, mutual love and affection, co-ordination ang co-operation, and peaceful c0-existensi in the society.

Therefore, its teaching revolve round the ethical and moral behevior of individuals and families. In fact, God’s purpose of sending the Prophets was to train the humanity in adopting good morals. Our prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has said in one of his famous saying :

" اِنَّمَابُعِثْتُ لاُتَمِّمَ مَكَارِمَ اْلاَخْلاَقِ ".

 “Verily, I have been sent to improve and perfect the ethical and moral behavior.”

The law and moral preceptts Islamic society, all emanate from the single source, Allah’s Revelation, presertved in the Qur’an and Sunnah. The moral values of Islamic society are completely different from the traditions of the modern profane society. As against shaky man-made laws, the Islamic society provided solid moral babes for social and cultural life of man. On these bases, the Right is distinguished from Wrong, Virtue from Vice.

In order bring peace and harmony in the society, Islam exhorts the individuals and families to regulate their lives according to principles of justice, fellow-feling, c0-0peration in doing good and non-cooperation in evils, honesty, sincerity, mercy on orphans, helping the needy and poor, showing utmost respect to parents, keeping good relation with neighbors.

Accrording to Islam, the forbidden act will result in the disruption of peace in society defeat the purpose of Islam Allah says :

 

" إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ.

“Faihful are surely brothers, so restore friendship among yaur brothers.”

And the Prophetic saying :

اَلْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ اْلمُسْلِمُوْنَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ

“A Muslim is one from whose hand and tongue the other Muslims are safe”.

Islam, through its moral teachings, tries to create a virtuous society in which the standart of right and wrong is the pleasure of God Allah alone. In such a society, the feelings of sympatthy, socrifice, mutual love and affection, co-operation and the tight of parents, children, near relatives, neighbors, poor and needy are safeguarded.

My brothers ! Those are all my speeches, let’s reflect on this problem, that is how to create virtuous society though harmonious and peacefud family. Finally, I beg yaur pardon if yau get some mistakes, I say ……..
